Introduction
This article shares biblical insights and testimonies to help believers who are weary of recurring situations, endless enemy attacks, and partial miracles. The goal is to expose the enemy’s tactics and equip you with the knowledge to overcome them.
The level of wickedness in the world has increased, with many people getting involved in various forms of occultism. Gone are the days when attending Sunday service once a week was enough to stay spiritually alert.
In 1 Peter 5:8, the Word of God reminds us:
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
This verse serves as a clear warning. Believers must remain spiritually vigilant because the devil is actively seeking those who are ignorant, ready to attack through temptation, fear, or confusion.
Understanding Astral Projection and Its Dangers
My own season of deliverance took a long time because I lacked knowledge about spiritual warfare. It was deeply frustrating. Some attacks persisted simply because I had limited understanding of them, even though I knew the Bible well.
One of these attacks involved astral projection, a spiritual practice where a person’s consciousness leaves the physical body and travels to other places or dimensions. This practice has become increasingly common, and sadly, even “believers” are now involved in it.
My Personal Experience with Astral Projection Attacks
The first time it happened, I was in my room, half awake and half asleep. In that in-between state, I saw someone familiar standing beside my bed, making strange gestures. This was a person I knew well, a devout minister in a church. At first, I took it lightly, assuming it was one of the enemy’s usual tricks, disguising itself as someone I knew in order to confuse me spiritually.
Although we lived on different continents, this person often called me. Our conversations were mostly cantered on Bible stories, ministry work, and what was happening in the body of Christ. However, as time went on, I began to notice a troubling pattern. These strange appearances, often in the early morning hours, seemed to occur after our nightly phone calls.
One day, I happened to miss his call. Later, I found five missed calls and a message asking why I had not answered. The tone of that message surprised me because I had never thought our conversations were that serious. Something about it felt off in my spirit. From that moment, I decided to distance myself and eventually stopped answering his calls altogether.
When the Attacks Became Clear
Although I believe these encounters happened several times, there were only a few moments I could actually see them, by the grace of God. The incident that finally opened my eyes occurred one night while I was sleeping.
In a dream that felt vividly real, I sensed someone scratching my back as I lay face down. Startled and filled with anger, I jumped up, grabbed a shoe, and saw the same familiar person running away. I threw the shoe, struck him, and suddenly woke up-my heart racing, convinced that what I had experienced was not just a dream but a real spiritual attack.
For several months, the attacks stopped. However, they later resumed, and by that time, I had grown weary. I realized that human strength alone could not bring lasting victory. This time, I turned completely to God in prayer. I humbled myself before Him, asking for forgiveness for any door I might have unknowingly opened to the enemy.
Through faith and authority in Jesus Christ, I began to pray aloud, binding their occultic altar in the blood of Jesus, binding the astral plane which is their body of projection, and covering my home and every room in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. From that moment, I began to feel the peace and divine protection that only God can provide.
Victory Through Prayer and Revelation
After consistently praying these prayers, I had another dream during an afternoon nap. In this dream, I looked into a mirror and saw two men wearing red ribbons on their heads and red garments. These were the same individuals – my attacker and his senior “pastor.”
When they realized I had seen them, they panicked, threw down the mirror, and I heard it shatter. I immediately woke up.
The attacks stopped and that day of the dream, I went on the offensive in prayer and they never appeared again.
Aftermath and Spiritual Restoration
Later, I sent the attacker a message encouraging him to give his life to Christ, reminding him that Jesus loves him. He has never responded to that message.
Yet, my soul remains free. Through this experience, I learned that spiritual ignorance gives the enemy access, but spiritual knowledge and the blood of Jesus give us victory.

Final Thoughts: Stay Spiritually Awake
Believers must understand that the spiritual world is real. Astral projection is not a harmless experience – it can be a form of intrusion or attack. But there is no need to live in fear. Through prayer, repentance, and the authority of Jesus Christ, you can block any wicked power attempting to project into your space.
“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7
